The family may ask the home health care aide to stick to a list, or if the senior has symptoms of dementia, decide whether unnecessary items can be put back without creating stress for the senior. Often a health care aide can quietly explain circumstances to a store manager or cashier.
We will agree on a plan that would include help with making a shopping list, putting away the groceries, preparing meals, and assisting with miscellaneous light housekeeping.
